Pearl medallions

I had been wanting to use these Swarovski drops for months but hadn't created the right piece for them until now. The 3 medallions in this necklace were made using double needle crisscross weave. This shade of Swarovski bicones is a favourite of mine, colorado topaz AB2x; they have a gorgeous light blue glow.

New website, earrings and a bracelet

I am in the process of transitioning to my new website, www.ampbead.com. Check it out, and in the meantime, here is a new bracelet and earrings set.

Teal elegance

I just finished this one. The Preciosa drops and Czech firepolished glass are a lovely shade of teal with an AB finish. The clasp uses a 16mm Swarovski cosmic crystal.

Pearl rings

I made these rings with Swarovski pearls and 6mm Swarovski crystal cubes. The gold rings feature 24k gold plated delicas.

Bracelets!

I came up with this design a few weeks ago using Czech firepolished glass and seed beads. As you can see, I've made many since then and have started using pearls as well.

Preciosa and abalone

I have always loved the analogous colour palette of green, blue, and purple. It is difficult to capture the green glow of the 18mm rivoli on camera, but in person, it matches the abalone drops perfectly.

Emerald and gold

I designed a new ring today -- a 14mm emerald rivioli in a netted bezel with 8 aurum bicones and featuring a soft and comfortable band of peyote.

Turquoise Swarovskis

After seeing a purple version of this bracelet, someone commissioned one with "a little bit of turquoise". I ordered the turquoise Swarovskis, was surprised to see that they were opaque, and didn't really care for them. Once I made the bracelet though, I was quite pleased with what they added to the bracelet. I didn't get a chance to photograph the first bracelet, so I've made another.

Pearl drape

I began this necklace with the seven pearl rounds, then joined them and added the strap with right angle weave. Adding the draping took quite a while and lots of thread. I love wearing this piece -- as with most jewelry, it looks much better on than in the photo!

Swarovski Necklace - Crystal Volcano

I designed this necklace for a cancer fundraiser silent auction, and it went over well, so I've since made more. It features a 18mm rivoli, bicones in fuschia and aurum and 14mm cosmic beads.

Crystal Rivoli Necklace

This was my first beaded rivoli necklace. Based on Laura McCabe's crystal burst pattern, it features a 16 mm violet rivoli. The reverse side uses a netting stitch.
